Considered a delinquent, everyone knows him as "The Beast". No one really knows his name either. Some think it might be Adam though because on the first day of school some names were called and Adam had been the only boy missing, which happened to be the same day "The Beast" skipped school. A social outcast, most are too afraid to go near him. It doesn't help that he growls at people and glares at them with eyes as sharp as a steel blade.
While "The Beast" has a notorious reputation, he is really a good guy deep down. He moved into town when he was just entering eighth grade. No one knew his past or name. While a lot of girls found him cute, he mainly kept to himself and was quite distrustful. He did poorly at school work and would get so frustrated he'd smash his desk and stalk out of the classroom. Kids and teachers alike began fearing him due to his rages. One time he was embarrassed during a lesson because he couldn't answer the question the teacher asked him and he blew a gasket. After that he was expelled for a while.
Things went completely downhill when he wound up on the wrestling team, however. The superstar wrestler of his grade, Gaston, saw him as a threat to his status and picked on the boy until one day during practice he did a number on the wrestling captain, ultimately sending Gaston to the hospital. After that rumors were spread like wildfire.
Where is the good guy, you might wonder? He is around when outside of school. When he is skipping class, it isn't to do drugs or cause trouble. He actually goes to the counselor's office and talks to Ms. Minnie Mouse. Because of her the principle came to be more sympathetic about "The Beast".
Before coming to Walt Disney High, "The Beast" had grown up a spoiled little rich boy. His father and mother were wealthy and powerful in the business world. All of this came crashing down when his father's company crashed. His father shot himself and left him and his mother with a ton of debt. Later his mother remarried and he wound up with a terrible stepfather. The man was abusive and cruel. Not used to such cruelty, the boy fought back and often was beaten to an inch of his life.
They owed the man for getting them out of debt and his mother was too afraid to leave, so he was stuck in that realm of Hades for a long time. His mother did her best for him and he did his best to protect her from his evil stepfather. In the end, his mother and stepfather died one night due to a car crash because his stepfather drank too much that night.
An orphan, the boy was soon enough moved off to live with distant relatives. It was his mother's cousin through marriage, Mr. Lumiere. While Lumiere was a good man and charming fellow, he did have his habits.
While the man did his best to take care of his new ward, he was a notorious ladies man. He liked to smoke a lot too - French cigars and fine cigarettes was all, but rumors claimed he did cocaine, heroin, marijuana and so forth. Due to this, "The Beast's" neighbors and peers began thinking he was a drug addict "just like Lumiere". It was all a blatant lie, but once a rumor was started, it was no use.
With such a reputation, "The Beast of Walt Disney High" figured it was better to keep to himself. When he'd skip classes, he'd either rant and rave to Ms. Minnie or he'd leave the school on his motorcycle. Along with his temper and strength, his bike led to his nickname. It had a profile of a roaring beast on it and he had fondly named it such because of it's powerful roar and rumbling purr.
He'd go on long bike rides that often ended in a secluded place. He'd overlook cliffs, enter woods or forests and just get away from it all. He never really went back to his "home" either. He had a hideaway in the woods. It was an old abandoned house. There he will spend most of his time. Hidden in the shabby master bedroom he keeps the only object he has left of his mother. It is a beautiful silver mirror with rose designs on it. In memory of her he also has a rose tattooed to his neck.
Finally his senior year at Walt Disney High came along and he found he was being held back. He had been utterly enraged at this, but Ms. Minnie calmed him and Principle Mickey was tolerating. That year he was assigned a tutor. Feeling humiliated and angry, he tried his hardest to avoid meeting her. The girl was determined to do her job though and followed him when leaving school one day. She ran into some trouble while in the woods however and was lucky that he was nearby and saved her.
Finding out she was his new tutor, he soon left, but she kept following him every day until he gave in. Despite his yells, threats and sour moods, he couldn't get her to waver and slowly they began to tolerate each other. Time progressed and they even became civil. She'd help him with homework and he'd sometimes show her his special hideaways.
Now they are tentative friends. His tutor smiles and greets him at school and he can't help but be civil in return. They even found he had dyslexia. His grades are getting better and since he understands the school work a bit better he has less temper tantrums. It took him a long time, but he is finally settling in just a bit and perhaps has a friend despite the relationship is casual. Ms. Minnie and Principle Mickey thinks he has hope yet.

Notes:
He is the only Disney Prince I will draw. I mean, with all the guys you just stick them in t-shirts and pants and you are good to go. The Beast though... Well, one, you've got to draw a guy who has the face of Michelangelo's David in modern attire. Even more... what sort of guy would he be in a school setting? I went for a combination.
He's the bad boy. I thought a motorcycle would fit him as well for some reason. I mean, the roar to life and all that. Also, Gaston would likely be a popular jock, so who would he but heads with who isn't from a different school or is a nerd? A bad boy.
Thing is... what would turn him from a rich, spoiled, selfish brat to an all out beast? So... he has a less than spectacular childhood now. Due to all the complexity, he has the longest background summary. Whoo!
